South Cape NYE Ball Drop in Cape Coral. This block party includes food trucks, beer tents, a ball drop and live music from Signal III and Soulixer. 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Free. All ages are welcomed. Southeast 47th Terrace between Southeast 9th Place and Southeast 11th Place.
New Year’s Eve cruise in Ft.Myers. Pure Florida celebrates the day with a cruise sailing from Fort Myers. Sky Zone New Year’s Eve Party in Ft.Myers. Teens can jump their way into the new year at the Fort Myers trampoline park. New Year’s Eve Bash at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa in Sanibel. A family-friendly event with games, stilt walker “Way Too Tall” Torrie, a fire dancer show, a balloon artist, a face painter, a deejay, steel drum music, karaoke, a photo booth, s’mores, a glow volleyball tournament, party favors, a Champagne toast and an island-style buffet. 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. $55 ($19 for children ages 3-12). New Year’s Eve and Town Birthday – Help celebrate the birthday of the Town of Fort Myers Beach and New Year’s Eve at Time Square, located smack-dab on the Gulf of Mexico. The festivities begin at noon with free cupcakes, and include live music. A ball drop marks midnight, followed by fireworks off of the pier.

Rock'n Noon Years Eve at Young At Art Museum in Davie. Fun for the entire family, this New Year’s celebration counts down to noon so everyone can ring in 2019 with YAA. The event features a balloon drop at noon, entertainment and New Year’s art activities. Boogie down with some beats, sip sparkling apple cider, and count down with a balloon drop at 12:00pm!
Noon Year’s Eve Celebration at Miami Children's Museum from 11:00am to 4:00pm. 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Ring in the New Year (a few hours early) with a countdown and our biggest and best balloon drop yet surrounded by confetti! Toast to the New Year with our apple juice “champagne”, and dress up for the occasion with our accessory giveaways (while supplies last). After the balloon drop, stick around for fun activities to help you continue the celebrations during the nighttime. (Make sure to arrive by 11:30 am for the balloon drop at noon!)
Fort Lauderdale Orange Bowl Downtown Countdown – This free street festival is touted as the premiere New Year’s celebration in South Florida—and with over 100,000 expected revelers, it deserves every ounce of the hype. It serves up fun and excitement for your whole gang, including bounce houses, inflatables, face painting, games, contests and line dancing with the DJ, as well as an early ball lighting countdown at 7 p.m. for youngsters.

Ring in the New Year at Legoland

New Year’s Eve at SeaWorld Orlando
Celebrate the connection to the sea, sea life and the world at SeaWorld Orlando's New Year's Eve event. Park guests can ring in the New Year at SeaWorld Orlando on December 31 as vibrant fireworks fill the night sky at midnight and festive entertainment will take place throughout the park, including interactive DJ stations, craft beers and delectable bites.
Returning in 2019: Three Kings Celebration – January 1 - 6
After experiencing the wonder of SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration, guests can keep the spirit of the season burning bright at SeaWorld’s Three Kings Celebration. Families are invited to help commemorate the arrival of the Three Wise Men with authentic festive cuisine and celebratory experiences held in honor of the cherished tradition of Latin cultures. During Three Kings Celebration, guests will enjoy extended opportunities to see classic SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration experiences such as “O Wondrous Night” and “Sea of Trees.” Offered daily, January 1-6, Three Kings Celebration brings the holiday season to an incredible close at SeaWorld.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios hosts Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
The event features spectacular fireworks, special effects and holiday music classics every night, beginning Nov. 9 through Jan. 6, 2019.
The Disney Countdown to Midnight at Disney’s Contemporary Resort sets a thrilling tone for the New Year, with a live DJ, seasonal bites from several Disney restaurants, dancing and libations, culminating with Magic Kingdom Park fireworks viewing and a champagne toast.
Central Florida West Coast / Tampa Area:
The Outback Bowl Parade in Ybor City will be from 5:30pm to 7:45pm. The Outback Bowl New Year's Eve Parade is a great family event featuring about fifteen High School Bands and the two College Bands from the teams in the bowl game, along with numerous floats. Units will travel down 7th Avenue from 20th Street to 14th Street where the college bands and cheerleaders will participate in a pep rally. Admission is free!
New Year’s Eve Fireworks on RiverWalk in Downtown Tampa from 10 pm to Midnight. For years, Channelside Bay Plaza hosted the annual downtown Tampa New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular. With the plaza under construction in preparation for a whole new Channelside, the best fireworks viewing moves to Cotanchobee Park in 2017. Bring your blankets and chairs and settle in to enjoy the show.
Kid's New Years Eve (Noon) Balloon Drop will be held at the Courtyard at Armature Works (1910 N. Ola Avenue, Tampa) at 11:30am. Since midnight is way past bed times, join us December 31st for a special, early NYE celebration for kids. The event kicks off at 11:30am in the Courtyard and will feature the Spheres Bubble and Magic Show as well as a countdown to noon, sparkling cider toast and a balloon drop! This family-friendly event is free to attend and open to the public. Come dance and celebrate the New Year a bit early with us.
Noon Year’s Eve at Lowry Park Zoo, Tampa
We've got your New Year's Eve plans ready, Zoo friends! Kids don't have to miss out on the big countdown just because of bedtime. Ring in 2019 with the whole family as the Event Yard transforms into a giant New Year's party at 12pm. Enjoy festivities like: interactive entertainment, animal mingles, a rockin' DJ, ThunderBug & Tampa Bay Lightning Girls, biodegradable confetti, beer & wine available for purchase for Mom & Dad, a countdown to the NOON year with a kid-friendly lemonade toast! This event is included in Zoo single-day admission & annual membership. Dec. 31st is a Pay for a Day, Get the Rest of 2018 blockout date. Pay for a Day, Get the Rest of 2018 ticket holders can upgrade for just $10.
First Night St. Petersburg in Downtown St. Petersburg from 4:00pm to Midnight. First Night St Petersburg is the largest family friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration of the Arts in Florida and each year, we bring downtown St Petersburg Art in Unexpected Places. First Night St Pete is a collaboration between local venues and performers in and around downtown St. Petersburg. Each venue showcases a variety of artistic mediums. The annual Fireworks will take place at 8:00 p.m. (an awesome option for little kids who can't stay up late!) and a second fireworks show at midnight and are made possible and presented by the good people at Parkshore Grill, 400 Beach Seafood & Tap house and The Annex. If you buy an event button in advance you can it get into all the events, and ride on the parking shuttle! Ticket prices are $12 for adults, and $5 for kids ages 6-12 if purchased before Dec 29th. After that, ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for kids.
Light it Up Clearwater in Clearwater Beach at Midnight. Welcome to Light It Up Clearwater! Clearwater Beach's Annual Fireworks Celebration. Come and join us on New Year's Eve, relax with your toes in the sand, watch one of our world famous sunsets, grab a bite to eat and then ring in the New Year with Fireworks at midnight! All compliments of the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce and it's wonderful sponsors. Central Florida Space Coast (East Coast):
New Year’s Eve in Daytona Beach - Get down to the sounds of an early evening tribute band at the oceanfront Bandshell. Enjoy fireworks after the show and again at midnight, with the Atlantic Ocean as the perfect backdrop. The Main Street block party celebration boasts an illuminated ball drop, stilt walkers, live bands and DJs, food vendors and souvenirs. For more live music and champagne toasts, drop by one of neighborhood restaurants, like the Ocean Deck.

Space Coast Lightfest in Whickham Park, Melbourne. Go and enjoy the lights any night of the week from 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. More than 2.7 million twinkling holiday lights will ignite the night sky at Wickham Park in Melbourne November 19, 2017 through January 1, 2019. The Space Coast Lightfest is a holiday themed drive-through event transforming Wickham Park into a virtual winter wonderland. This family oriented celebration features shimmering lights and animated displays and draws more than 15,000 vehicles annually. Pensacola Pelican Drop in Downtown Pensacola. A ball-drop is so yesterday. Pensacola ups the ante by dropping a giant, illuminated pelican. Sparks in the Park - Depot Park Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Downtown Gainesville! Begin the evening at Depot Park – music, a beautiful sunset, FIREWORKS, and more! Then take a 5-minute stroll down the glowing rainbow of lights lining SE 2nd and SE 3rd Streets to continue your evening at Bo Diddley Plaza with live music and the official countdown to 2019. 5p: Bring blankets and chairs and find a spot in Depot Park to enjoy the last sunset of 2018 while a DJ hosts a family-friendly dance party on the main stage blasting tunes and SNOW 360 degrees around the Hill. 6:30p: The fun continues in Depot Park with ‘Sparks in the Park,’ a 15-minute musically choreographed fireworks show over the main pond. 7p: Directly following the firework display, guests are invited to ‘GLOW Downtown,’ where SE 2nd & 3rd Street sidewalks, connecting Depot Park to Bo Diddley Plaza, will be lined with a glowing rainbow of lights leading to The Hippodrome Theatre.
