March EdZOOcational Programs at the Brevard Zoo
Animal Spotlight: Mr. T
Rescued from a pool in 2013, Mr. T is one tough turtle! Known as the only turtle that lives in brackish water, diamondback terrapins are unique to the Indian River Lagoon. Mr. T is a great ambassador for his species, as he is trained to follow a target in exchange for one of his favorite treats: mealworms! You can help diamondback terrapin populations by supporting efforts to restore their habitats.
