CANDYTOPIA EXPANDS TO MIAMI AND PARTNERS WITH ALICE + OLIVIA FOR DEBUT AT SOUTH FLORIDA’S PREMIER AVENTURA MALL
MIAMI (October 29, 2019) – Candytopia, the candy-coated experiential adventure that has delighted over one million guests across the country, announces it will bring its colossal candy creations to South Florida’s Aventura Mall (19501 Biscayne Boulevard), one of the top shopping centers in the United States, on November 22nd. Candytopia will join Aventura Mall’s 300+ stores, 50+ eateries, and renowned museum-quality art installations, for a limited engagement run throughout the holiday season. The opening will also mark the debut of the company’s first-ever fashion collaboration with famed global fashion house, alice + olivia.
Tickets for Candytopia Miami will go on-sale to the general public beginning November 5, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. ET. Tickets must be purchased in advance and guests are encouraged to sign-up for pre-sale ticket access. Admission costs are $28 for adults; $20 for kids ages 4-13; and kids under three are free. Candytopia will be located at the Aventura Mall on the third level inside Treats Food Hall.
“We’ve had our eye on Miami for some time and couldn’t think of a better fit than Aventura Mall to launch our 10th location and first fashion partnership,” said John Goodman, CEO of Candytopia. “We’re excited to showcase how retail and experiential can continue to meld and define the future of shopping.”
Candytopia’s best-in-class interactive art installations and full-sensory experiences will be joined by an one-of-a-kind alice + olivia themed room, where in partnership with Bazooka Candy Brands, complimentary alice + olivia co-branded Ring Pop® lollipops will be handed out for guests to enjoy. In addition, two exclusive Candytopia-inspired, limited-edition alice + olivia t-shirts ($60 for adults; $40 for kids) will be sold at Candytopia retail locations, in alice + olivia stores, and online. The collaboration will also have a presence at Candytopia’s existing Philadelphia and Scottsdale locations.

The marshmallowy mini-theme park is a peek inside the sweet and inspiring world of famed global candy artist, Jackie Sorkin. Candytopia launched in 2018 in Santa Monica and has drawn long lines and sold-out crowds from coast to coast. It quickly expanded nationwide with past runs in San Francisco, New York City, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston. Locations are currently operating in Philadelphia and Scottsdale. The Miami location will feature the most popular attractions along with exciting new elements inspired by the city.
