Creatures of the Night at the Alligator Farm
Many zoos offer family-friendly trick-or-treating but the St Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park has a 15-foot, 1,250-pound crocodile named Maximo and a python large enough to digest small mammals during dinner. Then there are the alligators, which will have special feeding at 7:20 p.m. each night.
Annual Big Shoals Pumpkin Fest at Big Shoals State Park, White Springs
Give your kids a pre-Halloween treat that includes a Pumpkin Chunkin’ (shooting pumpkins from a catapult and slingshot), pumpkin bowling and decorating, a haunted hayride and costume parade.
Florida Scallop and Music Festival at George Core Park in Port St. Joe
Northeast Florida has its shrimpers, Clearwater Beach is home to stone crab claws and grouper and the state’s “Forgotten Coast” from Steinhatchee to St. Joseph Bay is scallop country. This annual food fest honors the tasty bivalves. Also includes live music and a kids’ zone.
Corn Maze at Sykes and Cooper Farms in Elkton
Sykes and Cooper call their fall spectacular agritainment — it’s nine-acres of “cornfusing” turns in this huge maze. Other entertainment includes a donkey named Jack; a “Jack and the Cornstalk” kiddie maze; corn cannons, duck races and fall-themed family fun.
Annual Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo
Florida also has a booming cattle industry, which means it embraces bull-riding, cattle-roping, barrel-racing fun. The tiny Northwest Florida town of Bonifay has hosted the event since 1944. More than 25,000 people arrive (eight times the town’s population) to watch hopefuls rack up points while seeking a spot in the national finals.
Jacksonville Sea and Sky Spectacular at Jacksonville Beach
Jacksonville’s premier air show switches locales every other year. Grab your beach chair, fill the cooler and slather on sunscreen for your chance to enjoy a day of sand and surf while the Blue Angels perform their daring tricks along the coast. The planes will be based at Naval Station Mayport and the festival includes other civilian and military flyers, simulators, a street festival, kids’ area and recruitment booth.
Amazing Grace Crop Maze
This family-owned farm welcomes families each Fall to experience a crop maze, hay rides, a plentiful pumpkin patch and games. Located in Green Cove Springs, just south of Jacksonville, the Amazing Grace Crop Maze offers plenty of fun and is a great educational experience for families.
1890s Festival, McIntosh FL
Turn back time under the live oak trees in Victorian McIntosh. Vendors will host demonstrations on candle making, glass blowing and basket weaving; or get a glimpse into the past at the town’s museum in the restored downtown railroad depot. Also, antique vendors, live music, children’s activities and food.
Ocala Arts Festival in Downtown Ocala
Art lovers and collectors fill the streets of historic downtown Ocala for this juried fine arts show with 155 artists and craftsmen from all over the country. Kids can also enjoy activity stations and entertainment and holiday shoppers can get an early start at the crafts and gifts tents.
Sesame Street Halloween Kids Weekends at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Saturdays & Sundays October 5-27, 2019
Celebrate Halloween with Elmo, Abby, Grover and all your favorite Sesame Street® friends every Saturday and Sunday in October during Sesame Street® Safari of Fun Kids’ Weekends. Show off your family costumes during each themed weekend while you trick-or-treat, enjoy exclusive crafts, explore through a hay bale maze and play fall-inspired activities and games in our festival field area. Then, join your favorite Sesame Street friends during a character dance party!
Central Florida Zoo Boo Bash
Bring your kids in costume and bring a bag to fill up with goodies as you trick-or-treat around the wildest neighborhood at the Central Florida Zoo Boo Bash. You’ll find haunted hayrides, a pumpkin patch for family photos, face-painting and a daily costume contest. This event is included with zoo admission.
Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa
Creatures of the Night—Tampa Bay's premier family Halloween event—returns every Friday and Saturday 4:00pm - 10:00pm in October! After 4:00 PM, the Zoo transforms into an eerie and immersive Halloween adventure for the whole family. Creatures emerge at dusk with startling surprises around every corner. No horror, no gore, just fun frights for all.
Brick or Treat at Legoland
LEGOLAND has expanded its annual celebration so that more can enjoy the building activities, scavenger hunts, the world’s largest LEGO jack-o-lantern and a nightly Halloween-themed fireworks show.
Uncle Donald’s Farm in Lady Lake
Enjoy an old fashioned hay ride; walk on the wild side and see nocturnal animals like panthers and owls for the Fall Fun Nights at Uncle Donald’s Farm. Meander through the Pumpkin Patch and meet a bevy of reptiles in the Creepy Crawly Barn. Oh, and don’t forget to get lost in the hay maze, too.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween
It is with frightful delight that we announce a brand-new fireworks show coming to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2019: Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular!
SeaWorld Orlando's Halloween Spooktacular
This one is a SEA-sonal favorite with all the fun included in your regular admission. SeaWorld Orlando kicks off the funwith 14 trick-or-treat stations and costumed characters such as Gummy Worm Wanda. Be sure to join Princess Penelope and friends at the Spooktacular Dance Party each night and dance along with the interactive DJ.
Family Halloween Festival at Koreshan State Historic Site
On Halloween night, enjoy this Family Halloween Festival free with park admission from 4pm-7pm ($5 per vehicle) No tricks, just treats. Pumpkin painting, photo ops, hayride, food, games, costume contest and trunk or treat. Come as you aren’t for the children’s parade and costume contest. friendsofkoreshan.org

Costume Contest Every Saturday at 2pm! Pie Eating Contest Every Sunday at 2pm! Individual rides and activities, including pony rides, rock wall, bounce houses, zip line and pumpkin painting, have their own set price ranging from $1 – $7.
Mike Greenwell’s Haunted Hike

Little Chefs In Training Halloween Event in Fort Myers
Little Chefs in Training from 6:30pm-8:30pm on 10/31. $15.00 per student. Bring a pumpkin to decorate, make treats and enjoy a costume contest for ages 5-13. Also, there will be trick-or-treating in the parking lot.

Salty Sam's 10th Annual Pirate Festival at Fort Myers Beach Seaport
Come one, come all, you mateys! Don’t miss the annual two-day, all-things pirate party. Enjoy live concerts or watch a pirate ship canon battle. Wear your best pirate garb and you could win some serious booty. Also features the Pub & Grub Crawl.
Scream on the Green Halloween Walk at Copperhead Golf Club, Lehigh Acres
From 7-10pm on October 27, 28 and 31. Admission is $3 per person, or $2 with a can food donation. Food donations go to the Lehigh Community Services Food Pantry. This is a family-friendly haunted walk on the golf course that’s sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres. Note: there will be live actors from Lehigh Acres High School performing as zombies and other scary creatures.
Annual Ding Darling Days in Sanibel Island
Enjoy a week of fun eco-activities at J. N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. Features free tours (via tram, foot, kayak and paddle boards), birding and kids crafting. Don’t miss the Endangered Species & Wildlife life-size puppets presentation, featuring Heather Henson, daughter of Muppets creator Jim Henson.
Stone Crab Festival in Naples
After kicking off with the cracking of the stone crab at pincher’s crab shack, the weekend unfolds with block parties, live music, crafts, kids’ activities and plenty of succulent stone crab.
Halloween Spooktacular on Fifth, Naples
From 4:30-7:30 p.m on 10/31. Haunted house, movies, shy wolf sanctuary, live music, face painting, kids’ costume contest and a pet costume contest. Free admission, $10 entry fee for kids costume contest.
Haunted Real Estate Office On 5th
At 5pm on 10/31 at the MVP Realty Luxury Collection Office (478 Fifth Ave. South, Naples) Includes costume contests, live music, games, street dance, spooky movies, trick-or-treating, food, drink and $250 prize for best costume of the night.
Malloween at the Coconut Point Mall, Estero
On Halloween night from 5-7pm. Trick or treat at participating stores throughout the mall. Free!
Mall-O-Ween at Miromar Outlets, Estero
6-8pm on Halloween night. Music, karaoke, trick-or-treating and contests. Kids’ costume contest for ages 12 and younger starts at 6:30 p.m. near Bloomingdale’s The Outlet Store.
Caribe Arts Fest in Little Haiti Cultural Complex, Miami
Art, film, yummy food, music (two stages featuring salsa, reggae, Afro funk, soca and jazz), poetry readings, workshops and a kids’ zone. It showcases multi-media creations representing and encompassing the culture, essence and creativity of the Caribbean and the Americas.
The Pumpkin Patch at Little Farm, Redlands
The pumpkin patch at Little Farm is rated E for everyone. Take a drive into the country and discover this gem -- a real working farm that your kids will love, and learn from. Pick out a pumpkin, see farm animals, ride ponies, explore the butterfly garden and more. Be sure to get a scarecrow kit and harvest décor to decorate when you get home, too.
Miami Broward Carnival
Two counties join forces to throw an amazing party that showcases steel bands, parades, concerts, beauty pageants, colorful and elaborate costumes, yummy food and arts and crafts. The biggie events are: Carnival Parade and Concert, Junior Carnival, Steel Band competition and the King/Queen competition. Located at the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds in Miami and Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium in Lauderhill
South Beach Seafood Festival in Miami Beach
Help kick off the annual Stone Crab season and enjoy a myriad of other seafood celebrations prepared by Miami’s top chefs and restaurants. Also: live bands, culinary and mixology demonstrations, a kids’ zone, health village and VIP hospitality benefits. An added bonus: a sports bar on the sand showing the best college football matchups.
Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach
Get your Brazilian boogie on at this annual fest. Two stages will feature internationally-known Brazilian bands and solo performers and also the best of the local bands. Much more, too: a kids’ zone, skate board competition, more than 100 vendors and exhibitors and mouth-watering Brazilian food.
Annual Kiteober Fest in Miami Beach
Watch as the sky over Miami Beach displays a marvelous array of colors and figures from hundreds of kites, wind socks and wind spinners of all sizes. Don’t miss the 100-foot flying squid! Also included: Live music, paper-kite building classes, demonstrations, and competitions for kids and adults.
